That’s a crap-ton of impressive post-production. Although my dad and I both agreed when we watched it that the distance shot of the Eyrie was a bit too painty

This is pretty incredible. I assumed they did a lot of filming at castles, but it looks like most exteriors were super enhanced or created entirely in post-production. So good. The only thing that looked fake (other than the dragons, because they’re dragons) was the King’s Landing intro/landscape shot, but even that looked really good.
